About the job
You will become part of the Audiology & Signal Processing Concepts team, whose main role is to develop new innovative signal processing algorithms and sound coding strategies for cochlear implants (CI) and bone-conduction hearing systems (BAHS). We have a multicultural team that is split over sites in Vallauris (near Nice, France), Gothenburg (Sweden) and Smørum (near Copenhagen, Denmark). You will be joining us at our Smørum site. Your responsibilities may include supporting:


  • The development of algorithms and simulation models
  • System testing
  • Psychoacoustic (listening) tests
  • Acoustic measurements and audio recording

 Your background and personal competencies
We are seeking a candidate who is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, Biomedical Engineering or other related fields. You will need to be comfortable programming in MATLAB (other languages will be a plus) and have experience/knowledge in at least one of the following areas:


  • Signal processing, preferably for audio
  • Hearing sciences and psychoacoustics
  • Acoustic measurements and audio signal acquisition

For this role, you should have:

  • A structured and organized approach to work
  • Good communication skills
  • A focus on teamwork
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

We expect you to work (on average) 8 hours per week but are of course flexible during exam periods.
