R&D - Denmark
Do you thrive on technical challenges and have what it takes to become part of an ambitious team that develops advanced proprietary multi-core Network-on-Chip IoT chipsets?
Are you looking for a career where you help to make a real difference for millions of people worldwide? Then we have a unique opportunity for you!
In your new position you will be part of the Chipset Firmware Group consisting of 25 highly skilled colleagues. The atmosphere is informal and humorous but at the same time extremely ambitious and we are not afraid to say that we have some of the best developers and testers in town!
The challenge: Secure the quality of a complex proprietary embedded platform
Essentially, our challenge is to deliver the most advanced audio-enabled, wearable IoT device available, packed in a tiny package, running of a miniscule battery and living up to medical device standards.
We work on a highly specialized custom chipset and thus do not have the luxury of a platform tested by 1000s of other uses before us. We therefore rely on extensive automated stress testing to ensure that all defects in Hardware and Software are exposed.
The impact of your work is huge as the proprietary chipset you help developing is used in all Oticon hearing aids.
In headlines, you will join our 3-person verification team, which focuses on:
- Developing and maintaining automated test cases for regression, stress and verification
- Maintaining and expanding our test system with Hardware (remote controlled smartphones, audio sources, switches etc.) to allow an ever-increasing amount of test automation
- Cooperating closely with developers on resolution of the defects you expose
We are both looking for experienced developers and talented new graduates.
We expect you to hold a relevant degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering and have experience with Software test automation on embedded systems.
We are furthermore looking for the following competencies:
- Test Development in Java and Python
- Finding creative solutions to test automation across both test equipment and embedded system
- Jenkins / TeamCity
- Revision control systems and review tools
- Possibly BLE test experience
If you have experience with Linux, Bash and C, this will be an advantage.
Who we are
