Join our team!
Become part of our big R&D department, where we are about 600+ engineers working in hardware, software, audiology, embedded systems, and chip design. Altogether, we develop high tech solutions and challenge the limits of what is possible. We work in a dynamic environment, where there is space to influence and leave your mark on our products.
Designing industry leading amplifiers
In our Hardware Electronics group, we are of more than 50 engineers and technicians. We are responsible for developing the electronics solutions for all Oticon’s hearing aids. We are integrating our proprietary in-house developed IC’s onto small hearing aid PCBs – we call those “amplifiers”. Along with other parts/technologies like Bluetooth antenna, nEARlink antenna, Telecoil, acoustical transducers and battery, we put together the entire hearing aid system.
In your new role as Electronics Developer, you will be involved in all development steps from initial product specification to design handover for mass-production. You will get a chance to design electronics platforms against challenging technical requirements and a push for smaller and smaller devices. The limited space and high integration level makes this a very challenging task. You can look forward to having inspiring colleagues, advanced simulation tools and modern lab-facilities.
All in all, your tasks will be:
• Integration of IC’s and other key components onto PCB’s with size, signal integrity and challenging requirements in mind
• EMC compliant design and testing (immunity, emission, ESD)
• Verification of electrical performance
• Maintaining an overview and tying things together on a system level
• Coordinating technical activities and driving cross functional HW integration activities (depending on your seniority)
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering and come with 5+ years of work experience. Otherwise, you see yourself as a generalist and can tick off some of the following competencies:
• Experience in working with audio quality and disturbances
• Experience in EMC compliant design and testing
• Experience with PCB layout evaluation with signal integrity in mind
• Knowledge within high frequency design
• Knowledge within regulatory requirements, preferably for medical devices
We appreciate our open and innovative atmosphere here at Oticon and hope, that you are a true team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
