As we venture into a world of connectivity, it is essential that we test our products extensively throughout the development cycle and across our ecosystem of devices and external applications. Compatibility testing focus on the connectivity and compatibility performance of Oticon products with external mobile devices.
You will be making a direct impact
We would like to offer you an opportunity to work in our Compatibility Test Team as a student part time job or internship. In this role you will contribute significantly to maintaining our high-quality standards for the future generations of Hearing Aids and by doing so make a difference to the life of those with a hearing loss.
As part of the Compatibility Test Team you will work closely with Product Quality and R&D to test products extensively. This will not only involve testing the Oticon products focus on connectivity area and sharing the test data with different stakeholders.
You will focus on:
• Connectivity products testing with mobile devices, hearing aids and other accessories.
• Case study and diagnose in connectivity area
• Coordination and follow-up with different teams
• A SharePoint project to represent compatibility testing data
You can work with us as a part-time job. 15-20 hours per week working in Oticon office is preferred. You can also work as internship to be part of your studies and you will expectedly earn ECTS-points as agreed with your tutor. The student job does offer a salary and will take place at Oticon’s global headquarter in Smørum – close to the S-train station Kildedal.
You know how humans interact with technology
In order to be able to handle the tasks in this job, we expect you to have strong interest in embedded system and Bluetooth protocol. You also know how humans interact with technical products and what characterizes the great user experience. You might be studying computer science, software or electronics engineering or similar.
Our company language is English, so we naturally expect strong oral and written communication. You have a good hands-on spirit. You are a detailed-driven and result-oriented person, who can enjoy testing a complex system and feel comfortable with different trace tools. We expect you to be able to plan and organize your own tasks, but we will be right by your side to help you develop new skills and gain new insights.
